PUENTE DEL SUR (SOUTHERN BRIDGE)

With a bold and personal vision of the ethnical music, in this work we find a walking throughout some Canarian melodies that adopt a universal, contemporary, fresh and dynamic character. Puente del Sur (Southern Bridge) is more than a timple cd. Apart from featuring a band of excellent musicians, there is an important number of de-luxe contributors such as Cristina Pato, from Galicia, the Basque Kepa Junquera or Paco Díez from Castilla León, the group Los Gofiones and voices such as Luis Morera´s, Sergio García, Alba Pérez and the School Choirs from Puerto de la Cruz. An amount of 12 previously unreleased songs, mixed in Multitrack Studios in Tenerife give shape to this ellaborate work, co-produced by Benito cabrera himself in collaboration with the Venezuela-native musician Ikay Ledezma.
